This girl has me wanting to do my own dam hair,  she has georgeous shiny hair, but dam she uses a ton of stuff on it.   She does this thing called dry wrap that gives her hair so much body it's amazing.

What I want to know is,  if you have a perm why do you have to use a flat iron on your hair?  Isn't the perm suppose to straighten your hair.  No i'm not getting a perm but I just don't understand.

When I was getting perms over 12 yrs. ago they didn't have flat irons. But my daughter has to use a flat iron to get her hair frizz free and completely straight with her perm. I use a flat iron instead of a perm. The only chemical I use is hair color to cover my gray.

Rita when you flat iron your hair what do you put on it before and after.  Like do you use hair grease or what?

Oh yeah Ateyaa is the bomb I started her hair regimen on my daughters hait about three weeks ago and it really works it can get expensive but it's worth it because by the time you go to the salon on a weekly basis are even bi-weekly are when ever you go, and you get a salon look and at the same time if your hair is damaged you are restoring your hair, and the flat irons give your hair that bend on the end and gives it more body, like she said you will have to spend if you want the true results it works I will post pics of my daugt. before and after.

Lee, my hair is natural, but when I want to straighten it, I use CHI Silk infusion or John Freida Frizz Ease serum. I also have a CHI flatiron which is really worth the investment.

Is any of those things sticky or weigh your hair down.  I think i'm going to use the stuff that the girl on the video mentioned.    I am natural too, have been all my life and the only reason I need to change now is because I only wear my hair in a ponytail and I have to find a way to wear it down and I won't do that if it is all wavy.

I just looked at your profile, your hair looks good on all your pics.

Thanks! I mostly wear braids, out of ease.. No, neither of them is sticky. They are both silicone based products so they don't weigh hair down.
