Hi peoples,
Going through the process of sampling different protein shakes. I've only came across two protein shakes. I would consider buying. I would like to know what are you guys drinking or eating that's protein? And why do you like it? And where can you find it?

Don't buy a lot your taste WILL change after surgery you may not like them. For me its been hard finding protein I like I found 1 unflavored I can deal with. Before surgery I could tolerate a few now can't stand them.

I agree - I would not buy much, if any, before surgery because it is likely that your taste buds and tolerance may change.  I'm not a fan of any of the ready to prink/premixed shakes.  I buy my protein powder from Walmart.  It's called Body Fortress and it comes in Chocolate and Vanilla.  I buy the Vanilla and mix my own shakes with milk (soy or fat free), splenda and whatever fruit I have around the house.  Sometimes I mix it up with a little sugar free pudding mix for a stronger flavor.  Good luck!

Hey sis,
I would order samples online so youcan save money and try a variety ... one place is unjury.com and there are some others sites that sell samples you could search on here or google it, I just don't know all the sites people use.

Hope you get what you need!

I would suggest buying something to get you through the first few days at home but nothing more than that.  Your tastes will change and you will want something you can tolerate.  Then you can go out to vitamin shop, or GNC or even Walmart and buy single servings or small sizes so you don't waste your money if you don't like it.  I personally loved unflavored Unjury and since then if I used protein it is unflavored.  Most protein shakes taste like dirt to me.  Good Luck on your journey!

Isopure - Green Apple Melon... or maybe it's the other way around, you can find it at GNC stores I don't know if there's one near you, if not you can go online GNC.com, it's really good frozen.

I ordered samples from vitalady.com and that helped me. I always keep a Vanilla protein powder at home that I can add flavorings to and a chocolate protein powder also. Your tastebuds do change after surgery . Don't  stockpile it yet.

I wouldn't buy anything before surgery.  I brought a tube of the stuff at Walmart before surgery and after, I couldn't drink it.  I'm lactose intolerant.
I also brought samples of the Nectar protein and so far I only liked one.  Crystal Sky.  It doesn't bother my stomach too much.  I would stock up on samples and see what you like after surgery.
