Ok  since many of us have gone through physical changes in our bodies , my question is  what about  our  insides, was there a person trapped inside you that was dying to get out?  or better yet do you  feel like your the same person since you had wls or did you change?  I think that I am more outgoing now  and  I am less inhibited when it come to sexual things what about you guys  who was the  person livign inside of you?

Good question FF...

I'm basically the same person...

I don't think I changed much on the inside...although I changed a lot on the outside.  Because of my "outside" appearance...I think others perceive me differently more than I preceive myself differently.

I've always felt that there was a slim women trapped inside of my former body just waiting to get out, but I'm the same person I've always been I just have a new attitude now and that's because I have more confidence in myself and I refuse to take the BS I accepted before when my self esteem was low.

Disclaimer:  I'm just a newbie so I don't really know yet.  I've always been a big girl but in recent years of really packing on the weight I became less talkative and yes I'll admit less confident.  I used to be the class clown and the brave chick that would say whatever was on her mind and now people say I'm the shy one until I become very comfortable around them and can't shut my mouth.  I had said I couldn't wait until I lost all my weight to find that outgoing person again but I realize she's already here and I just need to embrace her fat or no fat.  Now I've always been flexible so that's not a big deal...lol

I completely agree w/ you. On this at my heaviest of 674lbs I started going back into my shell especially when I moved away from my hometown. I always had this thing about looking people in the eye and speaking but when I moved to Little Rock. I shyed away from eye contact and people interaction at times. I've always been outgoing and fun loving but only in comfortable places or where I knew people or people knew me and in my hometown that was pretty much everywhere.

Now i'm back at it....the big crunk dude...you know the loud cat thats always moving....you know the type, fun loving and having a good time no matter where i'm at....

PLEASE EXXCUSE MY CRUNKNESSS...

Very good question, F².

For me, the change has only been external.  I feel i'm putting off the same vibes I did when I was larger.
