Nervousness is natural.  This, after all, major surgery.  .   As for the protein,  lemme put it this way....doesn't make sense to go crazy with buying those powders cuz ur taste buds may change post op.  As for the cathiter (sp?)?  Yeah, at first..till u can go urself... lol.

Dude, you will be fine...just breathe...breeeeeeeeeeath.  whoooooooosah.

Oh, and congrats.  :-)

Ay Yo...  Congratulations there, Playa-Playa.

You gonna be aiight.  For real.

Now imma tell ya...  They gonna do that catheter thing on you but it ain't no biggie because you'll be asleep and won't even feel it.  So don't sweat it, Pot-Nah.

And dig...

What you may want to do right now is start a routine exercise program (lite walking, some stretching) on a day to day basis so that when you come home from the hospital you'll be able to fall back into that kinda routine more readily than if you didn't.

Yo, holla atcha boy, Double_Ayy! if you have any questions or concerns.

Peace.

Congrats
I would calm down and  relax,  How can you relax after hearing  good news?Your doctor and nurse will  prepare you for surgery. You will have to do  a 10 day liquid  diet to prepare your organs for  surgery. So eat your last favorite meal before you start.that liquid diet.It will not be easy , just a FYI .  Go  party it up for the last day of  no more overweight. By the way i didn't get catheterize.I had my surgery at 8 am. so  i  didn't drink  anything after 12pm that night.  My doc said , "i was fine to not have it ".
So Blessed!

Some surgeons don't require a pre-op a liquid diet.  Mine didn't.  All she required was nothing by mouth after midnight the day before my surgery.   Everyone should do what their own surgeon tells them to do as far as eating goes.
