Update on LeeshaS

Hi BAF family.  Just wanted to give you a brief update on my sister.  She remains in ICU and she is now stable. They could not risk finishing the surgery tonight so they will fini**** tomorrow.  At this point, they HAVE to fini**** because it was almost done when her blood pressure dropped dramatically.  They have that breathing tube down in her and she is heavily sedated. She doesn't realize that anything went wrong.  Even in her sedation, she is opening her eyes and attempting to move around. The hospital staff has been wonderful to her and our family and I'm grateful for that. My sister is so much stronger than I and I know that she is going to make it through this. I'm asking that each and everyone of you sincerely keep her in prayer tonight.

Can I just get this off my chest and then I'll leave it alone? It's something how ignorant some people can be.  Even while going through this, as people find out that the surgery was not successful today, the comments being made are "She wasn't that big, why did she have the surgery?".  And the one that really irritates me is when they say that my sister is only having the surgery because my father and I had it.  I don't understand why people are so inconsiderate.  But, I'm not going to focus on that right now, I'm just focusing on my sister and praying for her speedy recovery.
