I've always had a low tolerance for alcohol, but post-op....OMG, a wine cooler will have me heading straight to my bed.

I try not to indulge in public because I dump from it too, lol.
Life is not about making it through the storm....but learning how to dance in the rain.

Man before surgery I could handle hard stuff....Henney straight or some Patron and crunk juice and i was good...i had my first post op drink the night of the super bowl and couldnt even handle it... i had to settle for 3 wine coolers and no lie after drinking half of the first one i was feelin it and that is NOT like me at all.... but i do admit i had a few shots of grey goose last weekend and i was GONE WITH THE WIND...that junk had my insides burning and I will never do that again

You are too early out from your surgery date to be drinking.

That burning sensation you felt was your stomach complaining because it hasn't finished healing.  You're setting yourself up to get an ulcer.

Most surgeons suggest that we wait at least 6 months after surgery before drinking anything alcoholic.  It's very hard on your liver to drink while you're going through the rapid weight loss phase.  You could do yourself a lot of harm.
