Are There Still Color & Hair Issues Within the Black Community?
i'm speaking broadly here. no need to chime in saying NOT ME NOT ME.
overall, do you think people still trip over light skin/dark skin?
does the Good & Bad Hair debate still rage on like the Spike Lee "School Daze" skit?
being a shade browner than alotta folks, i'd always joke that light skinned dudes aint been in style since '89. but with Barack in the white house, will they make a comeback?
either take it lightly and come in here with some humor or get all philosophical on me and speak on it like Malcom Farrakhan.

its funny because as a kid i was a lot lighter than i am now so being called dark sometimes comes as a shock but its whatever cuz i love my skin complextion....

My life is like McDonalds....I'm Lovin It
Yeah some people are still colorstruck.
I have a friend that before she talks about anyone, has to first describe their color. I always have to ask her what does that person being "milk chocolate" or "mocha" colored have to do with the story.
I had a guy over the weekend tell me that I'd be beautiful if only I was lighter. WTF?
