I married my husband (who I think is gorgeous) 2 years before I even thought about wls. This man loves me like no other. My size was never a factor to him. I have other things that are far from perfect or normal, like alopecia, and dental problems from diabetes. I had my share of male suitors throughout the years, but like one lady said, the quality was shabby. (lol)
You will get more attention. That's just a fact of life. Enjoy it, soak it up and bask in it. It is funny to see how "visible" you become to some of the same men who walked past you without so much as a blink in your direction.
People are going to like what they like, so if that is you, then so be it!!!!!!!

YES, men are Very visual. But most persons, male and female are first attracted by something physical...a turn of the head, how someone carries themself (his or her swagger/confidence), the sound of their voice... I don't think being "slim" or "normal weight" will help you find your "soul mate", but it will give you more options from which to choose. I kinda believe that what is for You is not going to pass you by, BUT you must be in a place (internally) to see it, accept it and appreciate it. Like, when you are READY, it will show up. " The Teacher will appear when the Pupil is Ready" situation. For some, losing the weight has also spurred internal (emotional, Spiritual, psychological) changes. They NOW see their value, as well as value in others. Just as an asside: Have you noticed some
of the pics of pre-opt WLS participants...there are not many smiles on their faces; 2-4 weeks out there are nothing but smiles on most of their faces.
Oh yes...you are Beautiful. You look like a Queen...if you carry yourself like that, then no wonder guys are stepping up.
