Hi All,

So I got on the scale today!!! Im officially 206lbs in less than 7months Im 5lbs away from 100lbs weight loss! OMG I cant believe it! Its the best.
I have always had a boyfriend or someone of interest. But I have notice lately that I cant beat the men off with a stick!! it's insane....Ive never gone through this before. Ive always been called "CUTE" now its "Sexy"..."Beautiful"..."Classy"..."Pretty" and I think to myself and laugh.
Are men REALLY THAT VISUAL.
And I thought I was pretty good looking before, but I dont even know how to take all the attention. Its a little overwhelming. I mean I go to the grocery store, driving down the street, the park everywhere! Its strange

Life is but a dream....make your dreams come true.

Hello, Charlene,

I'm here to tell you that while we men are visual, we do not, by any means, corner the market. lol

While I did date prior to wls, I get more attention now than I did prior.  Amazing how if you change the cover on a book, keep the same pages (usually), you get greater readership. lol.

Just take the attention in stride.  :-)

No I don't believe weight loss helps you find your soul mate. It is funny how some men are more visual than others.  For me, I enjoy the compliments and keep it moving.
Congratulations on losing 95 lbs so far on your journey!

I am someone that hasn't had surgery yet!! Men have always said I was pretty for the majority of my life but for those men that claim they arent "into big women" they would say oh your so pretty for a thick/chubby/bbw girl... and I always said to myself does the fact that you are fat automatically make you the ugly duckling?? Anywho I can give less than a rats ass about whether weightloss will help me find a soulmate...I want to get into a bikini...now thats a love affair I am so waiting to have!!

Not at all.  Men are visual creatures so it may have broadened your dating pool, but just kindly thank them and keep it moving.  Unless of course, there's something more you'd like to see.

Wow.

My bad.  I keep forgetting...us men are the only purely visual creatures on the planet.   Sheesh.  lmboooo

Oh hush, lol.  Women are just as visual and both sexes have physical preferences.

So true.

I get the before / after treatment a lot at work.  My reaction?  I laugh.
