what cookie said...I've noticed that the older I get the more aware I am of every sensation with my body around that time and in the past 2 years of so I get a feeling of tenderness, heaviness and flat out discomfort around the nipple area. Hopefully it's no big deal.

...I'm going to see the GYN next week anyways but when I called him he said its normal for women to have breast tenderness and he would look at them next week...but to me this is annoying!! as far as I was concerned they just exisited and never gave me any problems and now they are getting on my damn nerves

Sometimes I get surges of pain especially if its really cold and the nips get really hard. In those types of cases, I get cut an extra thin pad up and place them over my nips. It cuts down on irritation. But I had a reduction and nerve damage is usual. I would recommend changing your bras. And if you gained or lost weight, look into getting refitted for a good bra to take some of the gravity pull away. Also try all cotton bras, sometimes just the fabric alone causes me pain. HTH.
