What I mean is if there is someone new in your life (coworker, friend) do you find that you can keep that relationship as truly platonic and not step into a new relationship with them but if you rekindle a friendship with an old flame have you/would you think that it would be easier to tip toe back in the same pool?
Why do you ask?

I've begun talking to an ex of mine on a social networking site and I have always held myself to a standard of not cheating however as I talk to this person because we "knew" each other in the biblical sense I find that its easier to have conversations with him that I would never have with someone that I never had that type of relationship with.
here's how u can tell if you are being unfatithful. One, can ur spouse listen in on the conversation and you not feel uncomfortable about it? Or, two, what would be ur reaction if your spouse had an old flame he had been familiar with in the "biblical" sense who he shared conversation with?
If he could not be privvy to your convos or if you would have a problem if the shoe is on the other foot, then you've answered your own question.
