Ok, I promised some I would update those who gave me good advice on my traffic ticket and I blocked others.

Anywho I drive all the way near Delaware yesterday to traffic court, this is my very first time in traffic court so I don't know what to expect, the judge was really nice to even the criminals...yep they had to set up on the front row those who were charged with things like theft and, burglary there was this girl that was even charged with INTERNET harassment via electronic email, I did not know that those were criminal charges and you had to pay a fine and could get jail time for Internet harassment , and then I thought hmmm I could press a whole lot of charges from flamers on this site as much as I have been flamed.  Also they had a few that was charged with reckless driving which I did not know was a criminal offense also, and carries a $1000 fine -- whew glad I did not get charges with that.

So they had all those who were charged with criminal offenses up on the front row and those who had traffic tickets were asked to sit in the back.

Also I learned that reckless driving USUALLY comes when someone drives very fast in local traffic and if you drive very fast on the interstate it is usually just a speeding ticket-- unless you are weaving in and out of traffic like a nut, because MOST people do drive over 65 miles per hour on the interstate and most people do not drive 80-90 miles per hour in local traffic, that is the BIG difference.

Also I learned that police officers really can't give you a speeding ticket on the interstate when you are grouped with a whole bunch of cars that are also speeding -- it is hard for him to single you out -- so AAHA...this is the sneaky reason that some people will tailgate you on the interstate and get behind you so they can't get a ticket ...they tend to get you when you are speeding and you are not with a group of cars...

So....enough rambling the judge gave us these options to plea....
1. Guilty, 2. Not Guilty 3. Guilty with explanation 4. No Contest, 5 Insane

Yep, they actually had an insane plea, so I listen to others that stated their case and the officer that gave me a ticket SHOWED UPso everyone that pleaded NOT Guilty the Judge sided with the Officer so...I figured I was not going plea Not Guilty to sort of play it safe and ask for mercy...so I pleaded GUILTY with explanation coz I was going over the speed limit and I was not about to argue with the Officer that the judge was going to believe anyway....

So explained what happened and told the judge I was going over 65 like ALL other drivers but I was not driving 91 as stated on my ticket; and promised to slow down in the future so...the judge reduce my fine from $290 dollars to $170 and reduced my points from 5 down to 2 points...SO it was WORTH going to court, if I did not go to court I would have paid $290 PLUS got 5 points on my drivers license.....so I am happy about that...I learned a LOT from my very time in traffic court....

Also since I was only 15 minutes away from the casino I drove over there and won over $2000, on the wheel of fortunate machines I played many and hit Red White and Blue that was $800, then I hit again on another machine for $1000 dollars and then won more on other machines and I walked out with 2grand in my pocket....so I must say my day went very well yesterday....

I am off the boards now for a while I promise just wanted to update those who were helpful giving me advice

Have a great day and thanks for listening....

O.k., so let me get this straight, Naomi...

You got a 'speeding' ticket...went to court to (at first) say "not guilty"...but then after seeing all the folk get the book thrown at them...decided to plead guilty, with an explanation (great choice!)...so, because of that, the judge showed compassion and reduced your ticket by $120 smackamaroos...plus reduced your points from 5 to 2 (hmm...so far, so good)...

So, then, just because you were near the casino, you decided to drop in...and drop some moolah...only to come out of that piece $2,000 RICHER than you were when you arrived...I say...

GO FIND THAT PO-PO...FLAG HIM DOWN...AND GIVE HIM A TIP!!! If it wasn't for him giving you the ticket..you wouldn't have won that cash...isn't it amazing how things turn out...for the good for those who do things correct and in order?

Have a wonderful day today...and don't spend it all in one place, k???  (send me $5.00!)
I choose to love myself, live life to the fullest, and encourage others to liberate themselves!
