OT: A Vacation you wouldn't ordinarily take......

I set a goal for myself people - i WILL go on a TRUE vacation by the end of 2010. This vacation CANNOT be:
- somewhere I have been before
- anywhere in the state of Texas
- any foreigh country (I haven't seen ENOUGH of America yet)
- cannot be done in conjunction with nor adjacent to ANY business trip
- MUST be at least 4 full days and nights long

THAT being said - I THINK I want to go somewhere with canyons or caves. I'd like to see some natural wonders that are awe inspiring - so Phoenix or New Mexico might just be what the Mack is ordering!!!

If YOU had to meet these requirements - where would YOU go?

Well, I am planning a 7-day vacation - heading to Seattle, Washington next month. It's somewhere I've never been, it's more than 4 days and nights long, not a foreign country...yada yada...and, best of all...it's 'sponsored...'

Those most def would be the two places Grand Canyon & Carlsbad Caverns that would have your canyon and caves. I believe there is also a spot in Arkansas. I am trying to find out where it is right now. I will get back to you.

I just googled Arkansas caverns because I can't get a hold of my friend who went to this particular one that I can't think of the name of. Once I googled it, there was quite a few locations that came up.

I've visited the Grand Canyon and Carlsbad Caverns.

(I think the Grand Canyon is one of the top places I've ever visited. I had not idea that a "big ditch" would have such an impact on me...LOL.)
