Since WLS, one thing I wear now that I didn't before is.....
I can wear knee boots without any and excess meat hanging over the top -- they just zip right up and fit real smooth.
Also -- I like wearing those sheer Wacoal bras; they are see through, but have real good support -- I love them!

I am the opposite of you MM. I used to always wear dresses and skirt because you couldn't tell my thighs were rubbing/or how big they were....or so I thought. Now I have several pairs of pants. Even though I don't have the "gap" my legs are acceptable to me now.

Boots..........before surgery my calves where to big , and I would not where plaids or stripes or bright colors or high heels, but now Mon-Thur and sometimes on the weekend you can catch me with 3-4in heels on they make your legs look longer and since I'm a member of IBTC (Itty Bitty ***** Comm) and I have very little azz I have to play up my best asset my legs and I'm 5'8 without the heels.
