Am I the only one that gets their Protein thru food Not Shakes?
I get my protein through food as well. Honestly the only way I do a protein shake consistently was when I wanted to slow the weight loss down because of the extra calories the shakes/milk gives me but my NUT says I should get it all through food but if I have to do a shake to get it in that's fine as well. I find that as you when I'm traveling I do better with protein I can drink since I'm on the run a lot and out of my regular routine.

I am going to stick with getting my protein through food, it works for me cause I absolutely hate protein drinks, ALL OF THEM.
When I am in another country I struggle to get my protein in. I take a lot of dry roasted edamame which gives me a ton of protein, but having those protein on the go things if I can stomach them will be great for when I'm traveling.

I use protein bars. I can't stand the protein shakes. I finally tried the unflavored unjury yesterday and it was nasty too. My kids loved it. I thought the fruit would mask the taste. Nope...
I have protein bars for breakfast otherwise I wouldn't eat anything. I like that they are portable and I keep them in my desk at work and in my purse so I never miss a meal. The bars I get range from 10g to 19g of protein per bar and under 200 calories. I keep a variety so I don't get bored from eating the same kind all the time.

Lee -- all of my protein comes through food. I only drink protein shakes when I don't feel good and don't want to eat. I should probably be adding a few protein shakes now because I never eat breakfast anymore and on most days I don't want to each lunch.
My meals are mostly protein and veggies with very litte fruit (it helps keep my blood sugar controlled)
I the summer my eating habits change and I will add protein drinks with some frozen fruit and flax powder. It's hard for me to get a lot of protein in the summer.
