If one is bold enough to make that move, don't have me assume anything, TELL me what the deal it.  So I can go about my business.  That's the grown up thing to do. 

Maybe you shoulda stopped her early on and said, "Ummm baby girl?  You know there's a movie and book out right now that will have more answers than me.  He's just not that into you."  And after she had her hissy fit enccourage her to read Why Men Love *****es.  Lots of good tips in that boook right there.

The unfortunate thing is that people swear up and down because of film, books, etc that this behavior is limit by gender.  

One can just as easily write the book "Why Do Women Love ********"  

I think this is more about not wanting to hear the opinion.

Oh I agree that there are just as many female dogs out there as male ones.

I agree with what you said, DAlexis.

However, I think homeboy still wants to leave the door open slighty for some of her delicious "Oh Lawd, Have Mercy!" but he's not going to come out and say that because he's greedy.  Just my humble opinion.

You may be right.  Maybe she IS the "the punnany in the glass case" (Break in case of emergency).  And maybe he's greedy or wants to keep her around in case the thing he may be working on falls thru. 

My thing is this: tell the other person.  Give them the option to leave or stay based on ALL the info..at least if she's being a fool / idiot / ass.  whatever its a CONSCIOUS decision...not being kept in the dark.
