Natural Hair Care Help<<
Question I was just wondering what hair products people use on they're hair if they have natural hair? I haven't permed my hair in 3 yrs. I pretty much wash and go wearing my hair curly or I'll twist my hair.
I've tried Carol daughters & miss Jessie hair products. Which are OK I find that when I wear my natural curls. My hair scream for a lot of moisturizers.
My hair does well with heavy creams, gels or mousse. I get tired of buying products and end up wasting money on something I don't like or does nothing to my hair.
If I get the urge to wear my hair straight, I flat iron it with Loreal Nature's therapy heat control mist. I find that it works great in my hair. It gives it a nice sleek look and I can wear my hair about 11/2 to 2 weeks depending on the weather.
So what hair products are you guys using or prefer to use???

God is good all the time!
I use a combo of products. I haven't permed since 1998. Also keep in mind my hair gets greasy within 3 days after washing.
Shampoos:
I use Pantene( the brown bottle) anti-breakage formula bi-wkly
I also use Sally's Tree Tea Oil Shampoo bi-wkly toreally clean my scalp.
Deep conditioning:
I used a combo of Pantene's mosturizing condition( in the brown bottle) and Shea butter cholestrol conditioner and leave that one for at least 20 minutes.
Leave in: Infusium 23
And I also use Paul Mitchell's heat seal to flat iron my hair.
I usually combine a lot of products because my hair texture is a mixture of 3B and 3C.
These websies also have alot of suggestions. I'm too cheap and broke to buy the expensive stuff.

i've been natural since 05, and my hair does well with heavy creams too. i use Dudley's "PCA" moisture retainer and Mango Butter by Elasta qp. These are my daily staples and they leave my 4a/b hair very soft and moist and full of curls. I've never straighten my hair since i've been natural.
Proverbs 4:25 Look straight ahead, and fix your eyes on what lies before you.
A lot of people may frown upon this but I wet my hair everyday and apply a leave conditioner. Once you find a conditioner that works for you, you can experiment. I have been natural off and on since 2003 and recently made the big chop, again. I do add oil in the winter due to dryness but during summer, I get too greasy.
