Me and 16 getting along

Yesterday I was over visiting one of my friend's, wearing my size 24/26 pants, all the while pulling and eventually rolling them keep them up on my azz, when my homegirl said to me and I quote "Dammit you need to get some new clothes because those aren't working for you no more boo boo".  I thought I still had some mileage left in them but I guess not.  So she disapppears into her room and comes back with a pair of her size 16 pants.  I am looking at her like she just lost her damn mind because there is no way I would fit into those pants and I don't do camel toe.  She says to me you are my size...they'll fit.

I try them on and not only do they fit but they have a bit of wiggle room.  I am over the moon right now because that is 10 sizes since Dec 15.  I can't wait until next week 'cause I'm MD bound for visiting and now a bit of shopping.  It feels strange though because I still see the same person as before. So here is my question BAF, when does your mind catch up with what is in the mirror?
My goal 135; current 132;  pre-op highest 285; I have lost more than I weigh...  I my RNY!

Congratulations!!  Keep up the good work! I don't think your mind ever catches up with the mirror.  I still wear my 30s and 28s and I am a 22/24.  I just don't see it; but others can; and I am 2 years out!

Congratulations beautiful, I am so happy for you!  That is a major deal, a size 16, WOW for real!

Great question, not sure of the answer though because I have the same problem, family and friends see difference, I can't tell until I try on clothes, then I kinda believe it but still don't really see it.

Congradulations!!!! I know exactly how you re feeling.  My clothes are HUGE and I need to get ride of alot of them.  When i go try on pants and stuff that actually fit I kind freak out, because my clothes have been huge for so long.  I don't see it is in the mirrior either.  I think soething we hold on to our old clothes because we are used to yo you dieting.  I still am waiting to gain the weight back if you know what I mean.
