What made him/her so special that they STILL cross your mind sometimes?

He was my first college crush.  Tall, dark dark dark (just the way I like em', Pre-med . . . In hindsight, I wish he had stayed a crush.  What I created in my head was so much better than the reality. 

What happened that split you two up?

I wasn't ready, and he smoked.  He was light years ahead of me in terms of knowing what he wanted . . . it took me a year and half to declare a major.  He knew he was leaving KY, and I couldn't imagine leaving. 

As for the smoking, that was a real challenge for me.  I hated it.

Do you do anything special to celebrate V-day?

I'm not that into it. It should be acknowledged, but we don't have to celebrate.  Cornflakes and candlelight work for me.

the one that got away?  The nicca I am with now.  I broke up with his azz and went non-communicato for over two years - spent some SERIOUS ME time..... then ended up talking to him again.  All the time we were not talking - I could never totally forget him.  He is STILL the only man that calms me, understands me, accepts me, deals with me no matter what - and LAWD nobody EVER put the 'sleeper' on me till Big Daddy........

Now - this is 3 years of us together - I made a big deal of V-day the first year and he totally ****** that up - so the next year I ain't care - he came TO my new job in PERSON to deliver flowers - I had JUST started the gig two days prior - i was the ROCK star - he was butter smooth and FLY in his suit.......

This year?  **** it - not really all that into overpriced bullshiot.  I am appreciating that resturants got specials going this weekend like $10 dinners at one of the steakhouses here - we will go to that - but gifts?  Nah - I got my boo - I'm good.

We broke up because I wanted more of a relationship that he wanted to give or was ready for.  When we got back together - I was ready for nothing and HE wanted the relationship - go figure.  He has had to 'coax' me into it - and I am STILL rebelling at times......

LMAO - you have been reading!  you know i can't WAIT for my steak, girl!!!!!  LOL

That steak stuck in my mind because I haven't enjoyed a steak since surgery!
