Hey All!

I've been

and slowly getting better. All this rest gets kinda boring so .... in honor of Valentine's Day, I have a question.

I was watching The Tyra Show and it of course has a V- day theme (I know, I told yall I was bored) She had this lady on who wanted to contact an old flame. They found him, he came on the show, and they went out and were re-connected.

My questions are...

Who is the guy/woman that was in your past that you would like to re-connect with?

What made him/her so special that they STILL cross your mind sometimes?

What happened that split you two up?

and....
Do you do anything special to celebrate V-day?

I'll start and answer:

This guy named Neal, he was from NJ and we met my first year at Ohio University.
We only dated for a few weeks but he was so dayum FIONE! He looked like one of those bad boy types but he really was a sweetheart. Out of the blue, he just left OU in the middle of the quarter. No explaination, no nothing. Never heard a word from him since. Always wondered what ever happened to him. When I see shows like this Tyra Show, it makes me think of him.

As for V-Day, I never got into it. Too commercialized....I also think the love and special stuff people do on this day should be done EVERYDAY for me...hell, I deserve it!

you know, i've let a few good ones get away..it's always been bad timing, or my fears of being hurt...i've been proposed to a few times..the proposals have always been deal breakers for me..i've vowed to never get married again so when guys start with all that love shiot it makes me run like hell..i love to love but as the song says love don't love me...yet i'm very thankful for the few men throughout the years that i've actually allowed into my heart. but i don't go back

Boy do I wish I had that mindset about never going backwards! I can remember a couple times when I should have left well enough alone. SMH and LMAO!

So you REALLY say never again with marriage? I guess you mean that since that's a deal breaker in a relationship. Maybe I need to get that black book of yours cause I know there are some good brothas you probably pased up. LOL
