I ate how much?
I started logging my meals on teh daily plate yesterday and have found that my carb intake is like 51% and only 20% protein! Yesterday probably wasn't my best day to start because I really pigged out on junk i ate chips three times. Just me holding myself accountable I have to do better.
ETA: My total caloric intake was right at 1200 which is about 200-300 calories more than I normally eat.

Suggestion - I am a daily plate user myself:
Instead of the % - focus on your grams. 50-60g of protein per day is a good goal to start with - you will find your carbs fall in line almost naturally if you make this goal. you are so full from the protein you don't crave the carbs.
Good job on using daily plate! When you SEE what you are shoveling in like that - it's a REAL eye opener!!

Acutally - you can't eat well ALL the time. You SHOULD allow yourself what you are craving. Instead of the BIG 99 cent bag of chips - get the 30 cent one.
Point - eat what you want - just SMARTER
My example - guacamole - LORD love MEXICANS!!!! lol - I will buy the big party pack and mow down a whole bowl of that stuff (over about 2-3 hrs)
I just now bought a 3-pack 100cal snack portion of the brand I like - so I will eat these instead of my wholly-mole-whole-bowl-of-guacamole.........
you're doing well to watch yourself, just don't do the deprivation thing - it'll make you do VERY wrong things.....

MM from theb eginning of this process that has been my goal enjoying everything in moderation. I have eaten well during the week and I usally go "crazy" on the weekend but when I began to get too full off of crap that I couldn't get my protein in the two previous days I began to get concerned and joined daily plate. I still plan no enjoying my treats but I gotta get them back in the "treat" category and not every meal.
