Do you SPORE with your SO???

Good morning, BAF. 

The acronym SPORE is 5 different categories that are deeply rooted in our individual personalities that manifest themselves in our dealings with our significan others or mates.  We tend to fall into one of these 5 categories primarily with our mates based on how we see ourselves basically. 

1.  In your day to day dealings with your Significant Other would you say that you have a:

a.  Sponsorship - You constantly pick up the "tab" regardless of the situation or endeavor that your SO takes on.

b.  Partnership - Shares everything with your SO 50/50 regardless of the situation or decision being made.

c.  Ownership - Controls how things should go regarding your time with your SO while you are together or while you are apart.

d.  Relationship - Truly open and honest, loving and caring.  Friends regardless with your SO.

e.  Entreprenuership - Makes all of the decisions and is expected to do so according to your SO, but willing to adjust to the changes in moods, attitudes, etc, of your SO.

2.  Have you always been this way when dating, hooking up, etc, with someone?

3.  How would your SO see themselves with you according to these definitions?

Hey Double...I used to be in a SPORE marriage (which is why I am no longer with my husband, he was too focused on being a person who thought I should most times pick up the tab, cuz I was the one working (hell and no, Bobby); thought he OWNED and CONTROLLED me because I was his wife (nikka, get cho arse out of the Old Testament...dem days of women not having value ARE OVER!)...

Let's just say now...I'm in a SPORE relationship WITH MY DAYUM SELF; meaning, I ain't tying myself down to one person right now...Thought that was what I wanted to do, but now I need time for DONNA, exclusively, and that's what I am doing - enjoying my singlehood and FREEDOM!

For example, I was once in a Sponorship with a woman who felt it was my job to get her hair and nails done, take her shopping, and the whole nine.  Then when holidays would role around she'd expect me to lavish gifts upon her.  Crazy but it happened.
