Rant n' Rave Friday

My rant is that I can't go to DC next week and I'm upset because my hubby waited until the last minute to tell me !!!!!  I NEED to get out of the house !!!!!

Doggone kid brought cooties home from school. She got over it, but now I'm sick as a dog.

I'm trying not to use up all my sick days, so I came in to work anyway.  Low grade fever - just enough to feel bad, but not go to the doctor.  I took some OTC stuff, but I can't tell that it's making any difference.  My chest is sore, my sinuses hurt, my nose is running, I've been sneezing, coughing and my eyes run water like crazy. 
 I'm sitting here in my corner trying to keep my germs to myself.  I cover my mouth when I sneeze and use alcohol gel anytime I have to touch anything, but I know my office mate wants to spray me down with Lysol.
