Skin Boils

Ok we call them risens. I use to get risens/ boils maybe once or twice a year, but now since surgery I noticed that I get two a week in different spots. Just wanted to know if this is normal for WLS patients or if is something I need to go see my PCP about.

I suggest you see your pcp about this because you could have an infection. With the rise of staph infections, I wouldn't risk getting boils this often without getting them checked out by your dr. I haven't read anything or noticed wls patients posting about this as a problem. Some wls patients do have problems with rashes because of sagging skin.
