Those of you who have had surgery and those of you who are planning on it....
You make very valid points. I hope that the changes you mentioned do happen for me. I guess it goes back to what Hershey was saying about wading through the BS from the genuine. I guess my problem is men who you see everyday or fairly regular and pass you by and don't say two words to you. The men who you are both about to go through a doorway and not only does he not hold open the door for you but he lets it slam in your face as he goes through. Or the one that sees you are stuggling with boxes and bags in your hand but doesn't even bother to acknowledge you or offer assistance. But these are the same dudes tripping all over themselves to get at the next chick with the tight jeans and the weave down her back. These examples have nothing to do with dating this has to do with common courtesy. And even if you don't want to date me does that mean because I am a big girl I am invisible and do not deserve a hello. Those are the type of guys I am saying I would throw up two fingers and say deuces Because to me that says something about your character.
i TOTALLY feel you on that - and YES - those are muddafugger who need the duece thrown up they azz.....
I don't just have issues, I have subscriptions! I'm saving on the newsstand price.......

Good questions Andrea,
I do have some of the same thoughts, especially about the snoring and such. I still have my energy, but sometimes my tank will run out before the game is over, but I get my 2nd wind quick. I think about how much weight I will lose. A guy here lost 100 pounds in his first 3 months of postop. Crazy.
I wonder what size clothes I'll end up wearing and if I will switch up my style of dress. I mean I rock the Sean John tents now, so I'm sure I'll stay the same with that style.
My friends always say "Juice you're going to be a beast". I really beg to differ, I'm concentrating on me and getting to where I need to be. I'm not tripping about attention, just a thanks and keep it moving. I think I will be a fitness nut when it get's popping. In my mind, I'm doing all kinds of workouts...my brain is fot as hell with all that thinking about working out.
I will share this...I know it won't happen, but I think I will come to after surgery and look down and expect my gut to be gone.
Just my thoughts

We already spoke about that one. I truly believe that is going to be you. As long as you don't try and sneak to popeyes.

I will check back with you after surgery to see if you still feel that way. LOL. I am just playing. I have witnessed you doing that before WLS so I know you are capable of doing it after.

You do realize that you are not giving birth just changing the size of your stomach.

I have lost 110 lbs and my 1 year is Friday. I stopped snoring, can sleep on my back, tie my shoes, my knees don't hurt, my thighs don't rub and I can take a bubble bath now. Am still the same person? On the inside yes and the outside no. In the past 4 months my 5 year relationship completely dissolved, mostly due to the fact it wasn't all that strong in the first place. Over the past 2 months I have ran into men who knew me before that are trying to get with me now that thought I wasn't their type before. Hell no! I am still the same girl on the inside, maybe just more confident and secure. I have not yet to tell someone to kis my a$$ but who knows..........IMHO I would pay more attention to the mental/emotional rollercoaster ride you about to go on it is definitely a mind trip the rest is going to happen regardless.
