is your S.O. insecure after your Weight Loss?

How many of you have had concerns from your Sig. Others about other people noticing your Swag, about you getting more attention from the opposite sex, or just plain out accusing you of stepping out on them?

Some people tell me that they say wives and husbands accuse them of having affairs.  From what I hear sometimes people are and sometimes they are not.

So you tell me is it just an insecurity that weight loss, is it a new found confidance has brought or is there something more?

I am guessing that with weight loss one would act differently around their SO...so their SO would in turn act differently 

My man know I got ho tendencies - had em as a big girl - just got more opportunity now...... LOL!!!!

Most times, the jealousy is not justified and the person runs off a good mate - sometimes counseling helps  - so I heard......

I just keep my 'dirt' under the rug.......

I can sense the insecurity through the comments he makes but he knows not to say anything. Since the weight loss I constantly let him know my feelings for him and that with taking care of his a** and the kids I dont have the time or energy to step out on him. I try to be very conscious of this since I have read how wls affects couple/marriages. I truly believe in the sanctity of marriage and would not cheat but there was a bigger chance of me cheating when i was bigger then there is now. I have much less energy now and do not go out as much as I did pre-wls. i should say, i feel much more tired but have more energy...its weird....I always feel sleepy and tired but I can move around alot more...cant really explain it.

Well, my husband has always been aware that I have one of those personalities that tend to draw people to me.  As a bigger girl, I think that I always had confidence and I showed that.  Now that I've lost 71 pounds, I think that my confidence has swelled and not in a bad way.  My husband makes it clear to EVERYONE that I am HIS wife...LOL...I love my husband with all of my heart and frankly, I have no need to step out on him...The way that I look at it?  Five years ago when we got married, I was over 280 pounds.  He loved me then and accepted me for who I was. My husband was and continues to be an octopus: he cannot keep his hands off of me.  Now that there is less of me to love, things have not changed. He is still all over me!!  I do know that insecurities rise after this surgery and it is vitally important that you and your spouse have a clear line of communication during this process. 

I think that if you are going to cheat on your spouse, you are going to do it whether you've had wls or not.  That's just my opinion!!

Ditton RaeRae. Hubby couldn't be more thrilled. He actually gets a kick out of it when we go out and somebody trys to talk to me. He gave me a lil challengs that if I can get in a bikini by summer he'd take me somewhere warm and beachy, so he's with the plan!
