OT: How much is a LOT of money??

I was thinking about how that shiot changes as you grow older.... remember when $10/hr was the SHIOT????

So - where's your bar now? 

30K - average?
50K - doing good
70K - just about right
100K - Ballin

Or is it 200 before it's ballin, 300?

Where could you be COMFORTABLE?

and if you make more money now than years before - do you find that 'more money - more bills' adage to be true?

I remember when 20K/year was like poppin Cristal and shiot!  LMAOOOO  boy - I was naive than a mofo, huh??

Ain't no such thing is toooo much money! More you have the more you want!

We as humans always want more, better, or just one more!

there IS a difference - even I would say there's never too much - but I would be GOOD at around 100......

I don't anyone ever gets comfortable..I am sure rich "comfortable" mofo think about their money the same way we think about our weight

Will we ever be "comfortable" with our weight? NOPE so I am sure the same remains true for them as well

I use to think it was 100****IL I start working at a law-firm. Girllllll I need to copy and paste some of those jokers check, which is WHY every pay period I LAUGH at my check......... A low end attorney at my firm bring home $9k a month a higher end attorney take home pay I am NOT kidding is $274k A MONTH!!!

I look at some who post on here about driving this, and living in this particular place. Child pleazzzz half of the people I work with not only make ME but several others look homeless.

Too me ENOUGH MONEY is when you can cash pay WITHOUT financing for a large item purchase meaning at least $75k.

I feel you on that!  LOL - I KNOW my boss and all the way up are pullin MAJOR $$ - that's why all THEM mofos live in the NICE hood by the job - MY azz gotta DRIVE way in to work.....

I was just telling somebody the other day that my first little supervisor job paid $31K, girl you woulda thought they paid me a million dollars.  I was a ballin' fool.  You couldn't tell me nuffin.  Needless to say, now if somebody offered me $31K I would have to put my foot in dat arse!

What is funny though, is back then I had excess (more money in the bank, would travel, etc) but now I make substantially more than that and find myself living pay check to pay check. But I guess thats what a mortgage, two kids, and grown folks billz do to ya!  Back then it was just me, a little cheap ass $350 apartment (that me and my boo split), my car that I owned in full, and a bunch of b/s spending.  That was the life.  You couldn't tell me I didn't have it going on then.  Shoot, I thought if I ever was at the salary I am at now that I woulda been pushing a Lexus hard top convertible.  LOL

Life is funny.

I just want enough money to live comfortable and be debt free.  I am still under $30,000 annually; so I can't even say what's too much; but I do know that I don't make enough!!!

Nikki, please don't take offense to what I said about if someone offered me 30K now.  For me that was a long time ago, and honestly if I missed one pay check me and my babies would be on the street.

After reading your post I thought about how mine may have sounded and didn't mean it to hurt or offend anyone.  I think as you make more you start acquiring more, so it takes more to keep.  I in no way meant to insult people earning less than $30K.
