Background:

Single woman, lives alone with her animals (lots), hangs with her family EVERY weekend...

drinks a gallon of haterade a day at work and will throw you (ME) under the bus in a minute.  Talks about her ex (been ex the entire time I've worked here which was 3 years in November) constantly...

Gets flowers today (Valentine's week you know) and they are from...

HIM. 

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?  The whole show was tragically entertaining...mail guy comes over with the fed-ex delivered package

HER: "WHAT?? Are these for me?"  (Extra loud voice)  "Who could be sending me flowers?"

No one in the department says anything.

Makes a big to-do over opening the box, roses of course (lol) and reads the card shaking her head. 

Tells her neighbor "I wonder what HE wants." (extra loud again) then makes another big show of "he never gives up." 

Are you kidding me???  Valentine's Day sucks (no doubt) when you are single but to send yourself flowers?? 

I know that they aren't from HIM because now she is over there pouting because no one made a big show over them.

I have stated here SEVERAL times I have never celebrated that man-made holiday Valentine Day should be everyday. There is this attorney in my office she gets flowers on a WEEKLY basis so Valentine's would be just another day.

And then you have those who ONLY get flowers for Valentine's day.

Sad AND funny how some have to FRONT for just another day. LMAO

I'm with you.  I think that holiday sets people up for failure--show me that you love me every day of the year.  I'm also a cheap beyotch.  Give me the $100 instead of sending me some dead roses that any other day would be $20!!

A.  She always is complaining that she has no one to love.

B.  She wouldn't let anyone see the card.

C.  And she was loud-talking until no one said anything and now she is pouting.
