I have to go to a "family" function tonight and I swear some folks are always drunk. Back home when you had too many you just be like " Girl you know dem thighs is too big for that skirt.....oh scuse me baby I had been drinking" Yes I have heard that very same phrase and it's cool.
People will respond positively to that cue for one of two reasons
1. They appreciate your manners, apologizing for such an impolite remark
2. They are glad to know you are drunk and this is not the normal you.
Either way why I got to go to this shyt sober and have to grin and bare it anyway. I ain't saying I'm get drunk but, I sure is tempted to go in that condition. Why do they invite me anyway???? At the last one we had to leave promptly cause folks can't say no to the wine and i can't hold my tongue. Enough ranting.
