Post -Op Update

well, i'm finally able to get back on here and give a little update.  last time i posted i was having trouble a few days out from my surgery.  i had my post-op appt. the next day after i posted and my doc put me back in the hospital.  my esophagus (sp!!) was swollen (i had a hunch on that part) and i was dehydrated which was aggravating it.  i spent two more days in the hospital, which sucked, but it helped me so much!  thank you to everyone *****plied to my last post, too, by the way!  thank you!
i traveled over 8 hours to have my surgery and we spent 13 days there!!!  i can't even express how happy i was to get home!!  big bummer though... i had developed an abcess tooth during my hospital stay which i didn't know about because i was on morphine!  so, the day after i got out of the hospital  the second time the pain kicked in and KICKED MY ASS!!  it still is!!  so it's been hard getting on track with my new diet and lifestyle because i've been in so much pain for the last 3 days!  miserable.  but despite all the complications and pain i am still thinking positive... this too shall pass and man oh boy I CAN'T FRICKIN WAIT!!  tomorrow i get a root canal and then hopefully i can concentrate on what i need to be doing for this new life instead of incapacitated because of excruciating tooth pain!
tomorrow i'm back in the land of the living!!

I'm glad to see that you're maintaining a positive attitude through all of this mssgvs.  It is to be highly commended!!!  The pain indeed shall pass soon...
