Ladies on Birth Control I got a ?

I use the Nuvaring and I love it. I've been using it now for about 5 months with no problems.

IUD (10 year one) no hormones...

Works fine for me,  I think I have 2 more years before I get it replaced.  Absolutely, no complications for me.

****Ladies Please be advise*** Please be careful while using birth control pills.
I used Birth control pills off and on for several years. and 2yrs ago I caught a massive blood clot in my lungs that nearly killed me.( God is Good to me all the time) If if you read the warning signs to any birth control pills, the warnings are there, but we tend to over look the warning sings at times. Just my advice to you if you don't plan on having any kids for the next few years and are interested in a form of contraceptive. Look into having an IUD placed with low or no hormones you can have one placed in 1,3,or 5 years, It's what ever your choice is.

My gyno said I should not use Nuvaring due to HBP and suggested the IUD/Mirena.  I do not want anything stuck in me that I cannot remove immediately if there are problems.  I'm still ticked off about that.   I had some plans I had to put on hold.  Besides, she used my own words against me. 
 
Since then I have remembered the other forms of birth control.  Condoms, sponges, vaginal film, spermicide, abstinence, etc.  Remember condom protect against HIV and some other STDs as well as provide birth control.
