THE DEVIL IS ON MY BACK AND BURNING MY SKIN UP
GOOD MORNING ALL. FOR SOME REASON I HAVEN'T BEEN GOING TO CHURCH LATELY. I WAS RAISED UP IN THE CHURCH JUST CAN'T SEEM TO GET MY HEAD ON RIGHT TO ATTEND. ABOUT 6 YEARS AGO MY FRIEND WAS KILLED WHILE IS WAS IN THE BACK BEDROOM, THEY KILLED HIM AND HIS ROOMATE BUT OF COURSE THEY DIDN'T KNOW I WAS BACK THERE OR I WOULDN'T BE TYPING THIS MESSAGE. AFTER THAT I WAS THE POSTER CHILD FOR FELLOWSHIP. BIBLE STUDY, LADY STUDY, MENS DAY, DANCE PRACTICE YOU NAME IT I WAS THERE AND DURING THAT TIME I HAD DEVELOPED SUCH A LOVE FOR GOD IT WAS UNREAL THEN I JUST STOPPED. I DID GO TO CHURCH SUNDAY TO WALTER THOMAS IN BALTIMORE BUT MY HOME CHURCH IS JAMAL BRYANT ALSO IN BALTIMORE I JUST NEED FOR EVERYONE TO PLEASE PRAY FOR ME. I DO WANT TO BE AN EXAMPLE TO MY NEPHEW AND HE'S THE ONE SAYING TO ME AUNTIE WE NEED TO MAKE SURE WE GO TO CHURCH ON SUNDAY, LET GO SEE JAMAL. REV. THOMAS WAS A EXCELLENT PREACHER BUT AINT NO OTHER LIKE JAMAL BRYANT.

And I love the Proverbs as well. The Book of Wisdom!!!
I remember when I first came to the LORD...my pastor told me something I'll never forget. He said, "I want you to read a chapter of Proverbs for each corresponding day of the month." That was great advice for me...and I think you should do the same. There are 31 days in most months...and there are 31 chapters in the Book of Proverbs...so it works out very good. (Try doing that for a 6 months at least and see how the LORD blesses your heart...out of your favorite Book of the Bible.)
I know exactly how you feel. Church going hasn't been the same for me either. I won't bore you with the story. Every weekend I say this is the Sunday I am going to church and I end up not going. And I will definitely keep you in prayer and you can do the same for me!
Success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has overcome. ~Booker T. Washington~
