Biting:  When Ginger was a puppy she would nip and bite at us as well.  The vet told us to gently hold her mouth close and forcefully say "no bite" each time she did this.  She eventually caught on.

Shampoo:
I also use Johnson's Baby Shampoo.  We only bathe her about once every 2 months because her skin will dry out if we did it more frequently than that....especially during the winter months.  You also don't want to deplete healthy oils from his coat and skin.  If you frequently see him going in a circular motion on the rug, this means his skin is itchy and dry and he's scratching the itch.

Good luck with poo bear, he's a handsome boy!

Thanks, Doll!

With his long coat, he has to have a bath every 7 days.....with a puppy cut or shorter cut, every 10 days.....I forgot why she said I had to give him a bath that often.....with the puppy or short cut, he has to be groomed every 6 weeks for $25-30 dollars....I will groom in between ~ears, foot pads, belly, etc.~ with the long coat, he needs grooming every 3-4 weeks.....

I can't wait to bath him in some baby shampoo.

I focus not on my disabilty; my focus is on my ABILITIES.
