Chris Brown Vs Rihanna

Just want to know what do you think about that one , now it doesn't say if it was Rihanna who called the police, now you know she was the one, I just want to know why? Do men think its ok to hit, he is only 19 and he is starting out very young, what makes men always want to hit a woman , what are your thoughts? 

Rihanna is the one who called the police and pressed charges. She did it under her real name Robyn. I think that Chris Brown is a young child and from jus****ching his body language via the paparazzi he seems young and immature.

I think you have a boy trying to play grown up and then incorporate the fact that he used to witness his stepfather smack his mom around you have a recipe for disaster. I'm sure he told himself he'd never do that to a woman, but guess what, he did! He also appeared to have minor injuries himself, so you never know what happened (not that her hitting him would excuse him hitting her).

your right, there is not excuse for hitting, its just a sad thing , and it happens more and more everyday, well I just hope this is a lesson for him and he realize hitting is not going to solve anything  yep trying to be a grown man, growing up to fast

here's the kicker - Breezy has interviewed talking about having watched his mama get HER azz whooped by his step dad - then he turns around and is JUST like what he saw!!!! 

Swear, some women need a biatch slap or ass whuppin. But just because they need it does not mean anyone should do it to them. I think men hit because some can't out talk a woman...hell, you can be all logical as hell but a woman will take you places where logic can't go, then there you are, all shyyyt faced saying"what da f***" I'mma slap her just to get some perspective back on this subject. Tough, off to jail for you! Hitting and abuse are a learned responses.

Who knows it could be an ego thing or to much success gone to his head. I know one thing Rihanna is from the Islands. I know Island women don't play those hit me I luv you games. I'm surprised we didn't see her chasing Chris with a machete lol. But all jokes aside I don't believe in physical altercations to solve disagreements when you in a relationship with someone. If you must hit one another then it's time to leave the relationship quick fast

It's all so sad to me - why does this crap keep on happening?  I also read that he bit her and hit her with his fists (MSNBC).

I disagree with most people to actually hold my opinion until I hear the facts. I've watched many women in my family provoke a man until he had no choice but to put her on her arse because she physically pushed them until they were defending themselves. We say we want to be equal and if you walk up to a man and hit him then you should know that you gonna get hit back and the fat that you're a woman doesn't give you a free pass to abuse men.

So that's my general opinion but I haven't "heard" what happened with that couple to really give an opinion.

I don't believe in men hitting women as a way to settle arguments or to try and control a woman's thinking.  Nor do I believe in a man hitting a woman "in order for her to remember her place." 

However, by the same token, I do not believe in a woman feeling as though she has Carte Blanche to provoke, push, hit or do anything else physical to a man either just because she thinks he's not suppose to hit her back.

Too many women are being abused unnecessarily here in America!  Some are being abused whether they've done anything to incite the attack or not.  Yet some women are being abused because they themselves lack the judgement skills to realize that every man ain't a gentleman; and that every gentle man is not necessarily a sane and rational one.
