Am I a freak of nature?...No yelling at me please
I can't comment since you couldn't let your original post stand...I can only add that at this early out, your body hasn't healed, and those nerve endings are not close to being healed...thus, you aren't able to feel 'real' hunger OR fullness yet. Please review what your doc has told you and measure your portions out...it is SO easy in the beginning, not so much later. I am coming up on my 5yrs, and I still have days where everything is a struggle. Don't waste your blessing.
There are a lot of people who when they got surgery they did everything by the book. Then there are some who "test" out the surgery to see if it actually worked... You and I were in the "testing group"... Now i can give excuses why I was a tester but im not going to. I believe It was Nikki who once said on a post we had surgery on our stomachs and not our heads.. That is so true..Sometimes we are just so obbsessed with the idea of losing weight quickly that we dont process thet weight loss surgery REALLY IS HARD WORK!! We hear so much how people say "its the easy way out"..now we will say we know that its not but i think deep down inside we are hoping it is...
Yes some of the ladies comments may have came off as TOUGH LOVE thats why I never dared to post when i was eating Mcdonalds french fries when i found out i could eat them without any pain... And i was still losing...and then it just stopped...and then i gained 2 pounds!!! and that made me want to eat more because i felt like a failure...but what helped me im going to share with you...
There are so many beautiful inspirational women here on BAF... Go look at their before and after pics...Look at the beautiful body and beautiful spirit they have now that they have lost the weight by usuing the tool they were blessed with. This weight loss tool we have not everyone is blessed to have. So its up to you and I to make the best of it.. We have to get ourself on track because we got this surgery for a reason. ANd if we are going to just eat the things we ate before then the surgery was useless.... Now i recieved surgery one week after you and I JUST started eating how i am suppose to. If you would like We can help each other along the way.

My life is like McDonalds....I'm Lovin It
Sweetie,
Take what we say as an act of love it maybe a little tuff love but it will be worth it in the end for you to humble yourself and take the advice. Trust me they know I maynot say it but I read, I listen and I take ALL the advice to heart I do not want to fail! I know you dont either....but to even think about trying these types of food so early out is ludicris for real! Be cool your time will come.

Please do everything within your power to stay on track . No it's not easy, but you have to make it work!
I just talked to a friend of mine's this afternoon -- I asked him about his sister because she had wls (RNY). She started testing the waters early and never stopped. He told me that she lost some weight and started eating all kinds of stuff again. Now just 1 year later, she's right back up to where she started.
What a waste and another my surgery did not work case -- the surgery worked just fine.
The sad thing about it is that she had complications that almost cost her her life! He said that he just can't understand why she put herself through all of that, but was not willing to follow through so that she could be healthier.
Fight with everything you have in you because you deserve it.

I'm not sure what you asked and judging from the response, it wasn't good. LOL. But I always say if you have to ask others if what you are eating is right, then most likely its not.
I'm in the same surgery month as you. Its a struggle to make better choices and some days you will win and some days you will lose. Just get back on the track with the next meal or the next drink.
This is your journey and its yours to make or break. Learning what works or doesn't work for you doesn't happen overnight. Good luck. Just know that you are not alone in some of your struggles.
