Good Morning Alison,

Since you started this thread asking that no one yell at you I will not type in caps....O'kay?

But Baby.........  You are setting yourself up for a huge fall.
At less than a month and a half out you should still be eating semi soft foods, no sugars, drinking lots of water, getting your protein, your vitamins and exercise.

You just had major surgery on your stomach - news fla**** has not healed yet.

There is not longer a seat for you at the Chinese Buffet - it's a waste of money and a deterrant to your surgery.  Stay out of there.  Measure your food.  Develop some will power.  Remember WHY you had this surgery in the first place.  Your journey is totally up to you.  If you are not willing to show some restraint this early out it will not get any easier along the way.

Take care and have a nice day!!!   (((see - I did not yell!!)

Peace & Blessings,   Sharon

I am on regular foods. Yesterday was the first time I had sugar. I drink lots of water and stick to protien and my vitamins. Never did I say I had no restraint. I didn't say I crave that food or eat crap everyday all day.

Question:  WTF did you get the surgery for?  You are only 11 days out and you are not following the WLS rules.  OMG, you will be up here in a few months complaining how you didnt lose the weight.  Do you know why?  Because you are eating all of that bull****

Stop yourself now please.  Arent you supposed to be on soft foods right now?  Babygirl, I am only telling you this out of love.  Stop, go talk to your nutritionist and your doctore.  You SHOULD NOT be eating the food that you are eating.

My apologies....1 month and 11 days ago doesn't change the fact that you shouldn't be eating the things that you are eating.  Don't take offense, just correct yourself and do right from this point.  We are all with you here, no one is against you.

No yelling here.  I'm not even sure how RNYers are supposed to eat.  But, I do know that for the rest of my life, I won't be going to ANY buffet.

Not following the surgery rules? That could not be farther from the truth. Yesterday was the first time that I have had one morsel of sugar hit my tounge in months. So don't get it twisted. I do eat healthy I just pushed the boundaries this past weekend. I constantly stick to protien and smart choices for the most part. If I didn't want help or suggestions or advice why the hell would I be HERE? I am not perfect if I was I would not have had to have this surgery so please don't come at me with "why did you have this surgery, you don't want help etc., etc...."

Oh my......  you as so very defensive.
But hey....YOU ASKED.
What you are getting is support and help.  It probably will come off as TUFF LOVE....But really you did expect that...right?

Just remember that after you have WLS you have been changed FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE!!!!!!  Every single day you are responsible and required to follow the rules to the T.  This early phase is just the beginning.  It is the training ground for the REST OF YOUR LIFE!!! (No one does the right thing every day all day - but this early out  it's not an option to play Non-WLS patient of the weekends)

If you don't understand and proceed accordingly NOW you will fight with this thing for the rest of your life.  It is so MORE MENTAL THAN IT IS PHYSICAL.

You were not even hungry at the buffet - you can't really be hungry yet.  The food was there, you were there and it is just common practise for you to eat it.

Thus our suggestion to you: STAY OUT OF THE BUFFET  and seek out your nutritionist NOW!!!

Well, what were you expecting us to say?  We have all been where you are...feeling the need to pu**** (just a little bit)...and most of us have suffered for it.

Please know that we are not beating you up for it...just want to let you know that NOW is the time for you to start making LIFE STYLE CHANGES.  Cheating 'just on weekends' will still result in WL ....NOW...but please believe, it won't be this easy forever.

None of us are perfect, so we don't expect it from you either.  But, if you don't want anyone coming to you with 'why did you have surgery, you don't want help etc....' then PLEASE don't post these types of post, because we will tell it like it T-I-IS!

The more you praise and celebrate your life, the more there is in life to celebrate. - Oprah Winfrey
