New Post-op Tip of The Day
Lets talk about goals. Some surgeons give you a goal weight and some don't but you should have a goal for your journey in mind.
-Be realistic
-Break your goals down into small portions (ex.: 10 lbs in a month or 5 weeks)
-Celebrate your goals without using food ( a manicure, pedicure, a new book etc.)
-Buy a smaller size of clothing on clearance or at a thrift store and work to get into that piece of clothing
-Set exercise, water, protein and vitamin goals
Do not get caught up on a number, but how you feel and how your clothes fit. However, I do suggest that you weigh yourself because sometimes weight gain can sneak up on you, so if you are consistent in weighing you'll get control before it gets out of control.
Write a goal for yourself right now and try to achieve it before St. Patrick's Day. Put it where you can see it daily. As Tony Little says, "You can do it !!!!"
