I'm a week post-op and I seem to feel uncomfortable alot. Is this normal? Should I be concerned?

IMO, I believe you are experiencing what most of us did after surgery.  It's probably gas.  However, if you are that uncomfortable, I would suggest you go in to see your surgeon.

Thank you, I thought that's what it may have been.

Hey there.  Congratulations!!

Discomfort is normal, but pain isn't.  If you're uncomfortable, follow the post-surgical instructions and get some rest.  You'll feel a little better everyday.

If you're in pain, call your doc.

I'm not really sure. In what way are you uncomfortable?  I know after my original surgery my port site was tender for quite some time.  You also have lots of built up gas for at least a week.

It could  be gas.  You aren't trying to go to fast.  At this point you should still be on clear liquids.  Go slow introducting your stomach to new things.

LOL!  Yes feeling uncomfortable a lot is normal.  I'm laughing because I remember going through the same thing and I thought something was wrong with me and my band.

You are going to be feeling a lot better in a couple of days.  If you can, walk around a little because it definately helps.  Sip on warm tea.  I pray that you are feeling better soon.

Hi Karen,

You are such an angel.    Are u an hubby going to DC?  I cant make the DC trip, but hopefully I will make it to the next M&G.  Well I'm about to put the puter to sleep and get some rest myself.

Hi Tanya!

I've missed seeing you girl!  We can't make this trip since I have a weekend class.  I really wanted to go to DC, but I can not miss this class.
