Saggy Skin
First of all Ms. Roberts HEYYYYY from Merced! I never see anyone this close to my hometown but anywho....peopel will tell you its all about genetics and YOUR skin. Depends on how much weight you have to lose, how our skin "snaps back" and how you work out. I'm 5'10 and as a pre-op was 299 I'm now 168 and I do have some skin but it ain't bad. I carried all my weight in my stomah so I have a lot in my tummy area but onthing tha clothes can't cover for right now until I decide to have plastics.
Wow you are close. Thanks for your response. This will be my second attempt to get surgery But now my insurance covers surgery. I went through the whole process now i'm back on the saddle again. I 'm starting over but I have to have a year worth of dr diet documentation.Did you have to go through a lot to get your surgery? My friends are not supportive of my decision but o well. TRoberts
Everyone is different. I'll be a year out next week and started this journey at 355lbs. I'm 6'3 and today I weighed 207 lbs and my skin is not bad. I have some sagging on my thighs and a little on my tummy and of course the breasts but you can't tell with my clothes on. I'm happy with myself except I do have a few wrinkles on my face but I'll get over that.
I think it has a lot to do with how big you are to start and where exactly you carry the weight. Also since with the RNY you loser faster initially than the lap band exercise helps. It doesn't fix everything but it helps. I was 372 and I have what I consider to be an outrageous amount of saggy skin. So, I will have plastics and yes I exercise every single day.
