You know I heard this on the radio this AM on the way to work and honestly I was just a bit floored. They played the tape of her saying "He's not MY president." You would think she would have a different take considering what she has likely seen in her lifetime. I do think that 'At Last' is one of those classics that really shouldn't be F'd with but I don't think B did a bad job of it.

Ok, dude, dude - I gotta ask - what makes a song 'untouchable'?  I mean - Natalie Cole redid her daddy song and knocked it out tha park!  There are remakes of things - like Mary J and Method of 'All I need' - that be tha BOMB!!!

Music is a LIVING thing to me - and not tied to a soul - which would mean it's meant to die at some point.  the fluidity and transfer of talent along the lines of a song is part of the HUMAN experience - animals don't do that - it's US and our God given creativity.  To put boundaries or restrictions on that curtails out ability to advance on a whole different level.......

Like I got irri******tated when Chris Brown did Donnie Hathaway's "This Christmas". I love old music, my father was into and that was something that he shared with me and I learned to love. Some of it though is that in my opinion most of this new generation of entertainers just don't hold a candle to some of the ones from the past...they are in it for the love of money rather than the love of music, and sometimes it shows in the final product.

I never call other women old, but she is 71 years old and got blond streaks!! I think she recently had weight loss surgery too, maybe she thinks she is the **** now.... This is just too funny, her fighting with beyonce she is older enough be almost her GREAT grandmother....

Hey Naomi:  I am a firm believer that people should do whatever thet want to do about their hair, clothes and personal appearance in general.  I'm okay with an old woman thinking she is the ****  There's a long history of that in my family.  What I find objectionable, ungraceful and unlady like is Ms. James' attitude.  When an an older generation exhibits envy toward a younger generation it annoys me.
