Ya know what??? That's exactly her curfew is 10 pm.  And she doesn't graduate this year, she graduates next year because she missed so much time and failed.  I dont' think I could put up with another year of this mess.

Shani...

Girl I could get by with stuff with my momma but my daddy, girl puleazzzz. I WISH I would come in the house whenever. I remember one time I was out rolling with my older brother without asking my parents my daddy beat the schitt out of me like I was a run away slave. Which is why to this day I am STILL scaird of that joker. And cutting class I wish I would have. I remember my brother was a junior in high school and did that mess my daddy left his post (he is a police officer) and went up to the school and kicked my brothers azz in front of his football buddies.

Someone made a post the other day in regards to giving their kid things to make up for a father not being around, this is where we as SINGLE parents make our mistake. For us as kids you got a couple of presents less than $100 and you better ACT like you were excited.

My prayers are with you...

Thanks so much Rhonda.  I have sparred the rod believe me but it seems like it doesn't have any effect on her.  There were times when I locked the door and if she is not in by 10 pm... too bad.  But her younger brother sometimes, unlock the door for her after we have gone to bed.   So many things have happened, that would take forever to explain.

But the bottom line is.... I'm tired.  God knows I'm trying my best but she is DETERMINED to have it her way.  I just don't want to put her out in the street and have her suffer of not finishing school.  It's a mother's love ya know but I can't have it both ways.  She's either in or she's out... so when hubby comes home tonight we gonna have a logn discussion about this...

Thanks for your prayers!

Shoot his azz would be on punishment too! You better get like Joe Clark and chain the doors!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (But a keyed deadbolt on both sides would work also, just keep the key with you in case of a fire)

My niece, bless her heart, gave my sister problems.....severe problems......and we enforced TOUGH love.....she would run away and come home when she pleased.....the last time she ran her asse away.....I told my sister, don't take the key (she always make a copy)....change your dayum locks.....and if you don't, I'm done! You gotta show this heffa who is the boss!

That was about 5 years ago LOL.....they are cool now....my niece is grown and still out  my sister's house.  My sister keeps her room for when she comes to stay, but she was like "Okay, I can do it!"

I'm like, "Dayum, I must have a COLD HEART!"

Hubby and I talked about changing the locks.   We have done that for our bedroom because she always came in and took stuff without asking.  As far as the doors,  we have a 15 yr old and a 10 year old, both need keys to get in the house when we at work.  And my son has alot of times bailed out on his sister (they are really close).  So my son knows if he bails out his sister, he gets in trouble too.

One time we went to church and she had a guy laid up in bed with her (yeah she got caught)  and it was in the dayum basement!!!  Before we got home, my son said, "mom can I use your cell phone to call Trina to let her know we on our way home"?  And I'm like what uneed to call her for??? So it got me thinking he wanted to warn her so I took the phone from him.  When we got to the house, I immediately opened the door and bam...

I wanted to kill her right then and there but hubby had to hold me back.....

WOW!!! IMMA SAY WHAT I HAVE TO SAY WITHOUT BEING BANNED OFF OF BAF FOR LIFE...I THINK A LOT OF THESE KIDS NOW ARE SPOILED ROTTEN, AND CONSIDERING HOW WE GREW UP IT'S TRIPS ME OUT!!!! I KNOW I KNOW YOU WANT YOUR KIDS TO HAVE WHAT YOU DIDN'T HAVE YADA YADA YADA, BUT HOW THESE KIDS ARE BEING RAISED NOW IT'S SEEMS AS IF THAT IS HURTING THEM MORE THAN HELPING THEM CAUSE THESE KIDS TODAY DON'T APPRECIATE SHIOT!!!! I AM OLD SCHOOL FOR LIFE!! I LOVE KIDS, BUT I DON'T PLAY WITH KIDS YA KNOW? THESE KIDS BE IN GROWN FOLKS CONVERSATION KNOWING WHEN WE WERE LITTTLE WE COULDN'T EVEN COME IN THE SAME ROOM WHEN GROWN FOLKS WERE TALKIN "PERIOD" UNDER ANY CIR****TANCES UNLESS YOU WERE DYING! FUNNY BUT TRUE! I WOULD UNPLUG ALL HER SHIOT, AND ALL SHE WOULD HAVE IS FOUR WALLS, AND BOOKS TO READ! NO TEXTIN, NO EMAILING, NO CABLE CHANNEL SURFING, NO GOSSIPING ON THE PHONE,ETC...THE ONLY PLACE SHE WOULD GO OUTSIDE OF MY HOUSE IS SCHOOL, AND CHURCH!!! I WILL KEEP YOU IN MY PRAYERS, AND HOPE THAT EVERYTHING WORKS OUT FOR THE BEST. MY LAST WORDS OF WISDOM: "IN ORDER TO GET DIFFERENT RESULTS YA GOTTA DO DIFFERENT THINGS" PUT YOUR FOOT DOWN, AND SHOW HER SOME "TOUGH LOVE" FOR REAL BEFORE IT GETS EVEN WORSE.

Thanks David! That's what I'm gonna have to do.  My mama pays for her cell phone and believe me I've tried to take that phone so many dayum times, I gave up.  I'm gonna have to get tougher on her and my hubby tells me the same thing.   Hubby doesn't play either and he is old school just like you.  So I'm gonna have to stand my ground and do as I say I'm gonna do and not go back on my word.
