I just thought I would share these yummy low cal dinners, some may already have them, but I purchased a couple of them and WOW, they are yummy and filling and only 150 calories per box and they fill up my little tummy very well, I can't even eat the entire meal, the gravy and roasted red peppers are awesome; I had just a touch of pepper and low fat I can't believe it's not butter and WA LA...I have a mini low cal meal..

The potassium is a bit high at 650 mg but that is not low compared to most soups.

Well, not for me, Just got my labs done and I'm severely deficient in that area. So, this could help.

And.....yeah, I'm not touching that one either

Free, may I make some suggestions?  Thanks

First off, have a second blood test if you have not; potassium is one of the most screwed up test ever!  Reason being, some many instances can cause the potassium level to increase and/or decrease....just ask to have a second test conducted and if it is still low here are some tips! (Low potassium is very dangerous.....it will eventually turn into hypokelmia ~don't trust my spelling on that word~....my mom has to take a Slow K ~potassium pill~)

For Dalexis information, the recommended intake per my NUT is 4200-4700 mg a day!

Check with your NUT for your recommended daily intake.

Eat one half of a small banana......eat one half of a baked potato.........Bananas

Start to include some of these foods as snacks: oranges, straweberries, canteloupe, tuna

For lunch another idea is a tossed salad with tomatoes, cucumbers, and bell pepper

Dinner sides: cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, squash

There are several others, but I don't eat them LOL

Warning signs of low potassium is FATIGUE.....you will feel extremely weak......you may also faint!  You may have trouble remembering schitt (my moms can't remember schitt LOL) and muscle aches (her legs ache like crazy when she is low on potassium.

If those tips don't help....get a supplement!

I focus not on my disabilty; my focus is on my ABILITIES.

I like the weigh****chers, lean cusine and healthy choice meals for when I dont wanna cook or just want something convient to pack for lunch.   I cant eat pasta so I only buy the entrees that dont have pasta in them ( which  unfortunaly is most of them  )
