Everything else just makes you interesting to the person you woke up thinking about...not freaky. you can be a boring lesbian, bi, gay, gay..... sex partner

I don't care much for labeling people. So, I don't get into the gay-gay and stuff like that.

But politically correct, a woman or man who dips and dabbles are bi-sexual. Unfortunately, men are not as forthcoming because they are giving such a hard ass time and therefore stay on the DL....for some unexplained reasons (double standards, Dedee), a bi-sexual woman is accepted in society.

As for me, I prefer truth! If you like to hunch booty or have your booty hunched---just tell the truth.

If you like munching carpet (soft wood for the carpet cut or challenged), or having your carpet munched by the same sex.....just tell the truth!

*****ally cares anyway? It should only matter that you and your spouse and/or SO know the facts....everyone else is non******gexistence!

Donna, I think people will never be real with their shchitt because half the fun for them sometimes is coming up with all of these daggone cutesy names for things.  It's that way in whatever people do outside of the so-called norm: 

Cocaine users - Snorters, die-hard partiers..
Marijuana smokers - weedheads, getting lifted...
Homosexuality - Gay, Lesbian, **************s, pole riders...

No matter the act/indulgence/counter-culture there is a cutesy name for it to serve as "in the know" lingo. 

Another "society" pet peeve of Dedee's.....errybody got label something.....you go to college, society ASSUMES you are educated......but you need more than book sense to make it in this society.....this world!

Well I'm a Lesbian and I'm confrused too. Me, I used to call them bi-sexual or TROUBLE. My partner (who is researching and writing her dissertation on Spiritual Development and Identity in Gay and Lesbians. Apparently the B and T parts are are real confusing even to the Experts.) Now she says that orientation never changes, that is who you are relative to attraction - physical, emotional Spiritual...BUT Identity is who YOU believe you are - how you choose to Live your Life...


So, for Example: Let's say you are married to a woman and Identify as hetrosexual;  you were in a Bar or in prison and saw a man and said, I'mma see what all the talk is about and you had sex with him. You say to yourself, No Way, nope, not my thang...who are You - hetrosexual. Same senerio, BUT you are attracted to men (NOT Man Love), you have sex with guys sometimes (on the down low), ...who are you - hetrosexual, because you IDENTIFY as hetro. Basically, Orientation, Sexual Preference and Identity can be Mutually Exclusive.
All I really know about is when a person Identifies one way and their orientation and sexual preference are in lock step with that. Everything else is trouble. But me and my partner agree on this: That if a person's PATTERN of Action is Inconsistant of who they Identify as, and they Identify as Hetro - they a Hypocrites Becaues they are Reaping the Societal BENEFITS of being Hetro. Identity development is VERY complicated, it's not just a label; orientation is pretty simple, you know what you desire...male, female or both. JMO

You're right.  That's your opinion and I do thank you for it.  But why do you feel the need to set up the scenario from a guy's POV if you are in fact a Lesbian?  Let me hear from your POV as a Lesbian.  Please. 

I can tell you right now most guys that are Gay are either in the closet or out.  No matter where you put them in the mix - it's either in or out.  That DL crap is just them being in and they've happened to find a small group of men who mix and mingle from time to time.  Straight guys are never either in the closet as straight or out of the closet as straight.  They're just straight.  Period.

1.  I don't normally respond to people who don't have an avatar or a picture or two of themselves on their profile page because I think it's wrong of them to be "reaping the benefits" of being on OH but I won't go as far as calling them hypocritical.  I just call them lurkers.  Come on out of the shadows, lurker.  We'll accept you here.  I promise.
