To all of my OGG/LGBT/down wit OPP/whatever... Sistas

Hey, I got a question:  If a woman "dips and dabbles" on the other side does that necessarily make her Gay or Lesbian?   Or is it more of mindset to match the physical to making a woman Gay or Lesbian? 

I only asked because I often hear people refer to female gays as Lesbians or GAY.  Sometimes I'll hear them say things like, "She ain't Gay-Gay; she just does her thing and it's all good."  So that led me to think that if a woman were truly Gay/Lesbian then she must possess a certain mindset or understanding about herself to accompany the physical side of being Gay/Lesbian because, in my uneducated opinion, if it were just about, for example, handholding and kissing then could that really be labelled a Lesbian act? 

Women in the know, please enlighten a brotha will ya?

Now would the same rules apply to a woman whose boyfriend has been bugging her for a threesome - MFF (Male, Female, Female)?  If gives in and she participates is she doing a GAY for Play or a Drive By?

See, I have so much I want to say on this topic but I don't want to sound so naive and utterly stupid, so I have to pace my ignorance one post at a time.

I guess I would tend to think that a woman is still gonna be a woman about hers regardless of whether she's sleeping with a man or a woman.  Her heart goes along for the ride when she gets down to business but she's going to reciprocate the love because if that's generally in her nature.  Would you agree?
