When my nut told me about the 30/30, it made me think of the 80/20 rule from  Why Did I Get Married.

I always have.  Tried not to but couldn't do it.  I'm pretty sure it wasn't a good thing to do early out because by drinking so much water, I'd forget to eat.  My mother had to call me daily to ask me if I remembered.

When I was a newbie, I ended up getting dehydrated because I wanted to eat rather than drink when it came time for my meals. I was told not to drink 30 min. before a meal and 90 min after. That was too hard. I don't think I ever waited a full 90 min.

Now, being 16 months out, I may take a sip or so of water during my meal. I tend to not drink for a while after my meals. It makes me sick.  I will drink anytime before my meals. It doesn't bother me so much. It does make it so I don't eat enough though.

That was then.... but this is now......

I am the opposite, I rather drink than eat.

I typically wait 1/2 or a whole hour...If I drink right after it is a sip or two.
