First of all, Hennessy didn't become the "drink of choice" for the brothas until relatively recently. This brand of cognac had been around since the 18th century. Granted, the only possible reference to President O is the number 44, but he has been being exploited since before he won the Democratic convention.
Buttons, refridgerator magnets, calendars, date books, hats, t-shirts,worthless coins and dollar bills, etc., he has GOT to be the the MOST exploited president in history. Near where I work, vendors set up tables with that stuff for which the president and his family get not one dime.
While we are, definitely, exploited, we probably exploit ourselves as much as anyone.
Besides, it could be worse: Boone's Farm could be putting out a bottle with President O's likeness on it.

LOL! True that! But like I said if I hadn't seen it in the hood instead of where I live I wouldn't have thought twice about it...ok yeah I probably would have. I just thinkits super ghetto.
I guess it doesn't bother me because Hennessy doesn't just target Black neighborhoods in terms of sales.

I'm sorry - but there were LOTS of people raking in HUGE dollars as they sold Obama paraphenalia...and not one person had anything to say about it...then Hennessy comes up with the idea of a COMMEMORATIVE cognac and folks are upset...yes, it's alcohol...I get that...but again, does that REALLY make a difference?
In reality - Obama's run for president has made many folk a few dollars richer than they were two years ago.
