One of my friends was telling me that her family was hosting a local memorial service for Chaka's father who passed away in December (She and Chaka Khan are first cousins).

I believe Chaka is actually in town (currently off tour), for the memorial.

Chicago has really been poppin lately! I know Musiq Soulchild has been hanging out here this week. He actually did a poetry set at the Cultural Center on Tuesday afternoon. Gabrielle Union is always here because she is dating that Bear Olawalala Gunda something I cannot pronounce. I think Jazzmin Sullivan and Ne-Yo will be in within the next week or so. OMG and I heard that the First family might be coming back home for President's Day weekend.

I thought she did a wonderful job is it me or did it look like she had lost weight?

I thought so too but its probably more stress and depression than activley trying.

SHE DID DO A WONDERFUL JOB, BUT YOU ALL KNOW ITS PRE RECORDED. STILL SOUNDS AWESOME!!! BUT SUPERBOWL PERFORMANCES ARE PRE RECORDED JUST IN CASE SOUND IS SCREWED UP AND FOR NETWORK TIMING.

I agree 100%...she did a great job.  That is the only part of the superbowl that I saw...my arse fell asleep.
