Good morning, Miz D.
I've been paying attention to your shout outs for quite some time and I've always meant to ask, do you get hungry at all? And do you adhere to your diet to maintain your current weight, or are you losing?

I pretty much maintain.  I do have 10lbs that I will put on and take off...especially in the winter.  Right now I have that 10lbs so I will be stepping things up starting tomorrow.  I do get hungry but have found that green tea helps me with that so most days I drink 2-3 cups usually as my between meal snack.  I'm worse at home on the weekends when I am without a schedule.

Thank you.
The words "green tea" and "appetite surpressant" seem to be springing from everyones lips as of late! I'm more apt to believe word of mouth advertising as opposed to commercials. I think I'll give it a shot. Thanks again. I'm sure those 10 pounds of yours are already filling out the change of address forms--you're FAR from worried, aren't you? *smiling smiley* Take care.

Mike, Green and Black Tea are your FRIENDS!  Drink them warm.....try to do at least 3 cups of warm green tea....and one or two of black tea!  Added to your daily water, it will kill the hunger in a New York minute (pun intended).

NOTE: DO NOT add any sweetners to the tea!

!!D'OH!!

See, now, DeDee...you had me until your little ad-lib in red!
I can't DO unsweetened...
......
unsweetened.....
Hell, I can't do unsweetened ANYTHING.
C'mon!! Splenda can't ROB green/black tea of it's appetite-supressant properties, can it? Seriously?

Honestly, though--I have my skepticism when it comes to these type of things--Diuretics? They do NOTHING to me.
Laxatives? Childs' play.
Appetite suppressants? Not too sure that they'll work either.
but I'm going to give it a try since you guys have "recommended" it. I'll keep you abreast of any success that I may or may not have.

I can give you some old Indian Backwooded remedies that will work:

Diuretic:  warm water, lemon, and cayenne pepper (you will urinate)

Laxative:  warm water (as warm as you can stand it) and epsom salt (start with one tablespoon)

Appetitie suppresant: Lots of water and then a tablespoon of honey and apple cider vinegar

Why don't I do any?  All except the lemon water mek me

and I can't drink the lemon water with the pepper ~gag~

I can't drink sweetened coffee or tea!
