My profession is Accounting Supervisor.  However with the transition I will be a Financial Operations Analysts for Promotional Activities (big title for overseeing all promotions activity accross the country for my company)

Business Ventures - I make Christmas Wreaths and Floral Arrangements - always thought the ones in the stores didn't have enough zing but costs too much money.  I did them for a fund raiser to help my niece and some kids go to a dancing competition and made lots of money.  I really enjoyed it too.

Children's Party Planner is my dream business.  I go all out for my childrens' parties and my friend's childrens' parties (make t-shirts, plan many games, make coloring books with the character and story about the child) If I could earn what I earn here doing X-mas parties I would quit my job in a second.

I also used to do taxes, but I am so busy with work this year I am going to forgo my tax side hustle.  I will miss those dollars.  I'll catch up next year.

I am glad you posted this it really got me to thinking.

Hi There

WELL lets see... I live a pretty boring life so here goes....

What is your profession?
I am a Decision Support Analyst soon to be Specialist for M.D. Anderson Cancer Center here in Houston Texas. Basically I write code, develop applications and analyze software that maintain financial data to ensure the appropriate revenue and reimbursements are in order. BKA a Techie.. lol

Any side gigs or business ventures?
I had a catering business but as of December I closed it down. Yeah, Catering and me trying to get WLS.... not was working well. I am a licensed food handler so who knows what the future will hold. Would not mind having my own cooking show or 5 star restaurant.

I am also a Wedding & Event Planner. My mother does the business full time and I am just part time. We do everything from destination weddings, anniversaries to
Quinceañera One stop shop for attire, catering, limos, DJ  and etc. Bridezilla has nothing on some of the women we deal with.  hmmm... sounds like an advertising plug. LOL..

I am also a web developer. Creating web-based applications and websites for business. Currently developing a Houston based clothing line's website similar to Sean John's and one of Houston's hottest Jazz band's website. Pretty cool stuff.

As Bubba-Gump says "Tha', That's about it...."

I am an Administrator and I am responsible for so many things to name a few; payroll, human resources, accounts payable and receivable, public relations etc...

I own and operate a notary service  and I can meet you in a safe, convenient location to transact your business after normal business hours...some examples...car title transfers, home mortgage and refinancing, last will and testaments, pre-nups.  In Louisiana, notaries can draft and execute most documents that attorneys can and I can also perform marriage ceremonies.  I hope to expand and grow my side venture.

I have planned class and family reunions and I still do.  I have also been told that I should start an event planning business.

I write letters and resumes for family and friends.

Hi Faith!!

Event Planning is pretty cool. I have enjoyed myself. It gets tiring though when you have to do like 2 events in one day and then the following day a huge wedding. Yeah I was going nuts for a while when I use to work with my mother in an almost full time capacity. Work all weekend, Friday night included to Sunday afternoon. Then turn around and go to my professional job that Monday.I was NUTS for a while. So my mom ended up getting some help. Now I step in when she has multiple events in one day. I manage one and she does the other.

We have a New Orleans wedding coming up in the next few months. They want us there 3 days in advance if possible so we do not have to rush do pull things together. Will see how that works out.

What is your profession?

I am a software developer as you have probably read in some of my posts; I develop enterprise business applications from scratch, aka tell me what you want and I deliver a product, I have developed very large appllications such as Obesity Help, I am working on a very large app now with a team of developer for the Defense department.

Any side gigs or business ventures?

At one point I had a couple of independent contracts solo gigs, it was too much for me, I may do it again at some point, but right now my plate is full with my full time job.
