STRANGE MEAT!!!
I've tried quail, ostrich, turtle, shark, snail, horse, squid, venison, frog, duck, game hen. I guess I"m adventurous, too. :-)
"When Alexander saw the breadth of his domain, he wept for there were no more worlds to conquer." Plutach. Not true, for there are always more worlds to conquer.

This is very itnteresting stuff here and I think I have heard too much.
I am not a very adventurous person when it comes to food if it's something that you can't buy at super market, and even then I'm very picky. Hell, I don't even like liver, gizzards or brisket. I can't understand how people can ingest something like chitterlings they stink and just knowing why they stink doesn't turn some folks off eeewww.![](http://images.obesityhelp.com/_shared/images/smiley/msn/sick.gif)
I have tried alligator at a place called Bayou Bob's here in Denver and I liked it, tastes just like fish. I have also tried octopuss jerky which was gross.
I was trippin when I heard about the tiger though.
How can you eat one of the most majestic creatures on the planet? I'm calling PETA. LOL

I've had squid (I was eating the heck out of it, until my son told me what it was...lol),
snails (on a cruise...naw, don't think so),
venison (loved it),
goose (our pet ~ didn't know that we were fattening it up for the kill....cried the whole time I was eating it),
duck (a bit too greasy for me),
oysters (just plan 'ole YUK),
chitterlings (stunk so bad while cooking, but just had to touch the tip of my tongue with some to taste it....uh huh....it tasted JUST like it smelled while cooking! That smell needs to STAY in the "restroom")!
rabbit (taste like chicken, but the tiny legs and bones made me nervous),
alligator (couldn't believe that I would try something, while I was wearing it's skin on my feet),
octopus (and the restaurant had to nerve to fry and serve the baby ones ~ WHOLE...please)
oh I forgot....
lambchops (didn't like the taste ~ plain as that),
hogmaws (was eating them up at Thanksgiving dinner...and then my father-in-law starting laughing and asked me if I knew what they were. I didn't eat another bite on my plate when he told me. I loved him and he's since passed away so I'm not mad at him),
pigfeet (I loved them and ate a LOT of them in the past, but for some reason now, I can't hardly eat them...or stand the smell. Maybe because of my WLS...go figure).
Well, that's all that I can think of for now. I am an adventurer and especially in food. However, I've had to give up eating in Chinese, Japanese, and Vietnamese restaurants. I just don't feel comfortable with them anymore.
Great question and responses Birdman. This was fun!
Take care and be blessed!
